We are looking for a salesperson who is capable of understanding and catering to the unique needs of researchers. Research Centers are not typical businesses and the sales approach is simply different. (Keep reading only if you inherently understand this.)
RAFT sales people help research centers spell out their needs and review their ways of operating. We help inform them of new federal and state requirements, help them work through wild highly academic ideas to form a concise plan of approach, and we follow up on a very regular basis.
The ideal candidate has sales experience, has worked in a research laboratory or in research administration, understands software development approaches to solving problems, and is an over achiever.
